Wow, it's been almost a year since I've done xanga.  Well, there is very exciting news that many of you know.  I am going to be a mom this summer.  Amazingly, only a couple more months away!  We're so excited.

Hey guys! As some of you already know, my friend Amanda and I are running our first half marathon to raise $ and awareness for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. That's 13.1 miles!! With that said, we desparately need your help! We each have to raise $2600 by August 15th!

We are hosting a fundraising evening to meet our commitment goals at the Sunset Club on South Blvd on Aug 5th. It is going to be a great night with live music and lots of fun. The cover will be a $10 donation at the door. We will also be doing a silent auction (if you or someone you know would like to donate something to the silent auction, let Veronica know). It will be a great time to pick up some cool stuff for yourself and know that 100% of the proceeds will be going to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Please bring all your friends and tell everyone you know to come out have fun and support a good cause! Spread the word!!

You can also visit our personal websites and make donations there as well!

Hope to see you all there!

By Request

And now for an update:

Life is becoming more defined. (at least for the next year or so)  For those of you that I have not had a chance to talk to, I have become a ballroom dance instructor!  No surprise for those of you who know me, I'm loving every minute of it.  They actually pay me to dance 40-50 hrs. a week.  It's incredible. The only down sides are very sore little feet and the inability to communicate with friends due to the crazy hours.  These aside, all in all, a very  exciting new career.  I've also decided to stay in Charlotte for at least the next year.  Yay for some new friends, for Riggs and me finding our own place sometime soon, and for other new things that you'll have to call me about. Well, that's all for now, this little dancer has got to prop up her feet and get some sleep.

Categorizing my theology...hmmmm
You scored as Emergent/Postmodern. You are Emergent/Postmodern in your theology. You feel alienated from older forms of church, you don't think they connect to modern culture very well. No one knows the whole truth about God, and we have much to learn from each other, and so learning takes place in dialogue. Evangelism should take place in relationships rather than through crusades and altar-calls. People are interested in spirituality and want to ask questions, so the church should help them to do this.
